Intersexed People

From the "Ask Karla" Department, Kalyan wants to know if its possible to have both a penis and a vagina.

The answer to that is yes. A person born with both male and female sex organs is called a hermaphrodite. The term is rather old fashioned, these days, as they're now called, "intersexed."

In many cases, there is a penis with no testicles and a small opening behind the scrotal skin. In those cases, there is usually no clitoris but there is a partial labia.

There's another similar situation, but its not caused by nature...If I recall, several sex reassigment surgeons, years ago, performed the operation in "stages." and the first procedure left the patient with a penis and pseudo-vagina, until the next stage of surgery was performed.
