Born in the Wrong Body - Revised

I've been battling the flu, and had a relapse, which is why I haven't been around much. Its really odd, because we've actually had above average temperatures, although we did have a FEW sub-freezing days, and only a dusting of snow all winter. I guess there's something to be said for "Global Warming."

Our regular reader Indigo posed an interesting question: "How do you know you're born in the wrong body?" She's female and is really trying hard to understand the Transsexual phenomenon. I give her a TON of credit for that, by the way.

To be honest, you "just know." Things, for me, were never right from the start, I KNEW something was wrong. I always related to the female "side of things," and never embraced the "male scenario."

At first its very confusing, until you figure out you're NOT alone, then its STILL not an easy battle.

Indigo, imagine waking up as someone else, or (since you're a gal) waking up in a male body. Your mind just wouldn't match, would it? Believe me, you'd KNOW something was wrong, wouldn't you?

Gee, I hope I explained that right.

By the way, on another issue, I've been approached to add a "chatroom," to this site. What do you regular readers think? Just drop me a note in the "Ask Karla" department. As always, you don't have to leave your email address. I would like to know your feelings on this, however.
