Dressing in "Stealth Mode"

I call this "Stealth Mode" because my friend, Diane, who is pretty much an "out of the closet" CD, she's more in the Trangendered "category" (don't you just HATE labels?), has a friend who is not "out" - Yet.

Bascially this M2F wanted to re-shape her wardrobe with ALL female attire, but have it look rather "generic," and passable as (yuck) male, but with a touch of color and style, as she lives in a rather small and conservative community.

Well, we all went shopping! Surprisingly enough, some of the local boutiques and stores had some very "useable" apparel, including tops, pants, jeans, and jackets, for example. We also found several pairs of low-heeled shoes (with a feminine, but "generic" style), as well as a couple of organizer-type pocketbooks online.

Add to this, some really sexy panties and a few sports bras...SHE was in business! Its all feminine, but rather generic, colorful, AND makes her FEEL good about herself. Guess what? Nobody gives a second glance. She goes out as a "he," but everything she wears is female. I gotta admit, not bad for "Stealth Mode." These ideas could definitely be worth their weight for someone starting transition.

By the way, I hope everybody's New Year started out great!
