Wendy's Bad Wig

If you're "out" in the TG Community, you probably know someone like this. Her name is Wendy, and I lost track of her many years ago. I met her at a Gay, Lesbian, Trangendered forum, where she was the keynote speaker. The auditorium was packed! It was rather difficult to tell the guys from the gals, and vice versa, except for Wendy! She'd been cross dressing, apparently, since she could put on a pair of heels, and still hadn't gotten it right. She appeared before us in a hideous dress, her - very bad - blonde wig lopsided on her head, and it was quite obvious all her makeup had melted away. I later learned that Wendy's makeup could melt away in a snow storm! She was a mess! But in her mind, she completely "passed" as a woman, which, I guess, is all that really mattered. Wendy was an activist. If there was a rally, Pride parade, protest, or community forum, Wendy was there, and she always spoke the loudest. I don't know whatever happened to her, but I think the world might be a better place if we had more Wendys.
