Afterthoughts on "He's a Lady"
Well, the final night of the TBS reality series: "He's a Lady" aired last night.
I'd been rather skeptical of the program from the start, but I hung in there, and watched all of the episodes, except for the one on Presidential Election night.
I'll have to say, overall, it WAS kind of cute, although mostly quite silly. I did draw a few conclusions, the main one being that if the contestant who called "herself" Alberta isn't a
Transsexual, SHE should be. Maybe she doesn't know it yet. Of all the contestants, Alberta had it down from the word "go," and she was quite stunning.
I was NOT suprised that Wynonna (David Zurawski) took home the tiara and the cash.
I even shed some tears, when he made his sincere and quite touching monologue, that even had the judges pulling out the tissues.
David/Wynonna wasn't the prettiest, nor was he/she the most graceful, but had all the heart and soul it took to bring home the prize and a new awareness for his role in entire series.
