How Don't I Look?

I was watching one of those television "makeover" shows on cable the other night. You MAY have guessed the name of it from my "play on words" in the title of this entry. ;-)

Usually, they take someone who's look and wardrobe sucks and re-do them in a positive image. On THIS particular program, they took this absolutely stunning woman, and really fucked her up. It wasn't intentional on their part, as the general impression of her friends and a "stylist" (I use the term "stylist" loosely) was that she dressed too "whorish" and "slutty."

She was short, thin, and had a beautiful bod. She loved short skirts, skimpy outfits, and extremely high heels. When she was dresed like that, she felt comfortable and showed a TON of confidence. After her "makeover," she looked and acted very uncomfortable, and showed absolutely NO confidence whatsoever! To be honest, I was embarrassed for her. She wasn't happy with the look, either.

I guess the point I'm actually trying to make, here, is you should REALLY strive to be comfortable with yourself and who you are. This is particularly important if you're Transgendered. Come on, Sweeties, life is too short to worry about if you're getting "clocked" or not. One thing I've noticed over the years is that people are really wrapped up in their own shit, and aren't paying much attention to you in the first place.
